NOVEMBER 2005 PILOT
BID CLOSING
"Delta Air Lines determines what routes, type of equipment flown to a particular city and the times to that city. They also determine the frequencies of each flight. For November there are numerous Tuesday and Wednesday cancellations to many of the cities we serve. Couple that with the Thanksgiving and normal weekend cancellations and it does not leave you much to use. What is left has to be used to build pairings and lines. No leg can be used more that once and no leg can be returned. All aircraft were complete except the CRJ. The CRJ comprises about 75% of the flying done by ASA. Once the bid package is complete, it takes 12-13 hours to print the CRJ package. Since the CRJ paper bid package cannot be delivered until the 13th, all aircraft and domicile pilot bid closing must be delayed until 1200 on Monday 17 October. The rest of the November 2005 contractual dates will be complied with as stated in the contract."
translation: bid packets are not ready yet. Expect them tomorrow.

Who wrote this, and what abomination of a high school awarded him a diploma? The MEC should be all over this kind of stuff- but as usual, they won't be.
Al long as they extend the date the bids are due by the same amount of time they were late, WHO CARES? You guys act like the 12th is the only day you can work on the bid package.
