I'm hearing DFW!![]()
I thought all were going to DTW
Correct me if I am wrong, but all the future classes are for XJT side.
I think the class on Monday is the last planned class for ASA.

Whats the break down of pilots in the class. backgroud, times ,etc.
April 18th is the last ASA class planned as of right now.
It's been a wide variety of people. Backgrounds range from other regionals, furloughs, CFIs, 91/135 etc. Average new-hire I'd say CFI experience with times probably around 1000-1500TT. Lowest time I've heard around 300TT, highest close to 10,000TT. It's been a good mix.
300TT is not a "good mix"... it's just sad!!
I didn't mean to say it is good. I meant it's been a variety of people and backgrounds. BTW, that specific low-time person was a current ASA employee and now part of the Holt family.
Really? Please elaborate!

i wasnt a son in law of anyone... had 300 hours when hired... been here over 10 years.... never was an issue..
ironically... my 'not so sad' 3000 hour new hire sim partner washed out...
just fly the plane and find something else to worry about..
No kidding, I was hired with less than 1000 as well.
The fact is this job is easy and anyone with half a brain can be trained to fly in a matter of weeks. It's the common sense that is what causes some of these clowns to fail.

Sounds like you deserve your low pay.....maybe you can work at Wendy's in the C concourse for extra cash.

Sorry to hurt your feelings... I still think it's wrong and sad to hire a 300 hour pilot when there are thousands of unemployed pilots out there that have far higher qualifications and experience! I guess in your opinion it's a better idea to leave them unemployed/furloughed in order to benefit the low time guys???
