why don't you make a citizens arrest...

waaaah... why don't you just go tell his parents what he did .... maybe they'll ground him...and then you'll have the sandbox and all the toys for yourself.....

It's statements such as this that show me this whole conversation is totally over your head.

IFFF,

You are a punk as well as a freaking moron.

First of all, you ban one of the longest members of flightinfo because you got your feelings hurt by what he called you.

Then when you are called out on it you come back with a pathetic half baked apology which was pathetic in itself.

THEN, when I state the obvious your challenge me to a fight in the ASA crew room.

I wonder if the management at ASA and the ATL Chief Pilots in particular realize that one of their pilots is threatening someone else on a PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD. You have threatened me with physical assualt on a PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD.

Are you an idiot? Do you have any idea what could happen because of the statements you have made?

If I were you I suggest you get in touch with the Moderators ASAP and get this thread pulled.

I really thought that when I made the statement "Cat got your tongue?" you would come back on here and state that you had gotten a little worked up and a least offer some sort of apology. I guess I was wrong.

You are a pathetic little cry baby. You aren't worth the effort.

Well said!
Not to worry, the guy went and got HIMSELF banned! He obvously has no class, and like was stated below, is not an example of the fine folks that work for ASA! Good riddence to him!

funny how you go from moderator to being banned in 1 week!

When a top spins it is in perfect motion, but when it starts to slow down it starts going all over the place and out of control, till you spin it back up again.

I do not speak for him or let our LEC speak for me anymore until he is replaced.

Wait, I thought JoeMerchant was John B. Do I have that wrong, or are you saying that IFFF is someone different on the LEC.?

Joe Merchant is J.B. He was InclusiveScope also. If J.B. was IFFF he would have cut and pasted the banning notice. Thats all he knows how to do.

LMAO!! Now that's some good stuff. The patented JB Cut-&-Paste-O-Matic 9000. Gotta love it.

Aside from what IFFF said or did, or if you agree or not, are the things you say called for, or any better??? I mean, seriously, are you any better for calling him "pathetic", and an idiot. I'll argue that the things you have said to him are as inflamitory as him banning the Gen. He may have been wrong, but not mailicious in intent, as you are. Take the high road. Flame away.

Its no better than you picking on Mesa...We are all guilty of it in one form or another....Let's not start throwing stones in our glass houses!

Hey there's a difference, IFFF flexed his muscle by threatning to ban him, and calling him a prick! I realize you don't like the General, but if banning him was not malicious in intent, then you need to understand the meaning of the word!

Malicious:
Function: adjective
: given to, marked by, or arising from malice

Malice:
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Middle French, from Latin malitia, from malus bad
: desire to cause pain, injury, or distress to another!

IFFF is the 112 FO rep - the second most powerful person on the ASA MEC.

Only if our MEC was dysfunctional enough to play the roll call game. Which is what I am quite sure is the game you would like to play.

The ASA MEC is about consensus. Not power plays and personal agendas.

Wow, that's one screwed up council. I hear the boys in 112 are talking recall for you JB. Are they going after IFFF too? Time to weed out the RJDC tools.

Half of those bags were mine!!!!

Joe Merchant is the ASA LEC 112 Sec/Treas. He spends most of his time using his position to try and embarrassment the LEC and MEC. He rarely attends LEC meetings and the last meeting he attended he took the sign in roster and minutes with him when he left the meeting. He has refused numerous request to return those to the LEC Chairman or to ALPA National as required by the Constitution and By-Laws. When he can't control the will of the majority he behaves like a spoiled brat. If you see him in the crew lounge ask him to do his job or resign his positon. He will not do either.

IF JB is that pissed off, then why doesn't he just quit?

JB wants to be fired by the MEC so that he can become, in his mind, a martyr. And, by not attending meetings, he believes he's a thorn in the MEC's side. Truth is, the MEC could care less about him. And the MEC has no intention of recalling him. He just won't deal with it, and get over it. He's obsessed with it. His deal I guess.

Hoser

My friend in another state said he heard on National Public Radio that ASA had a really bad record with lost bags. This was the topic for at least 30 minutes. Good press.

Way to go BL. You really know how to run a company. Get the pilots to take a paycut and that will solve the problems like this won't it?

Duhhh!

You are mistaking me for an IFFF ally. I find it quite disturbing that IFF has almost half the roll call votes neccesary to call for a strike. He is no fan of mine. As far as no "power plays and personal agendas", you must not be very familiar with unions and ALPA. ALPA is like any other organization - it is full of "power plays and personal agendas". Heck, the US Congress is full of "power plays and personal agendas". You are either in denial, or "trying not to air our dirty laundry in public".

No PCL boy, IFFF is almost half of the MEC roll call votes. He is not "an RJDC tool". He is very anti-RJDC and very pro ALPA like yourself. Actually, your both very similar.

I'm not "pissed off", I just think ALPA has been an abysmal failure in terms of collective bargaining. In fact, it has made things worse by increasing the number of alter-ego carriers (Freedom, Republic, *************************s, MidAtlantic) that compete with each other. Collective bargaining and competition don't mix well, but ALPA has yet to figure that out.

As far as "quiting", only chicken$h!ts quit. If you want to fire me, then go ahead. If you want to kick me out of ALPA, go ahead. I will never quit questioning authority, be it management or ALPA.

Agreed, but the RJDC in not the answer either.

I stand corrected. For some reason I thought I remembered having discussions with him over the years where he made pro-RJDC statements. I just went back and looked over his old posts, and it seems I must be thinking of someone else. I wouldn't say that he and I are very similar though. He still believes as you do that ALPA favors the so-called "preferred" pilots and that they aren't too concerned with the regionals. Not to mention his crazy "don't call me a commuter pilot" crap. Anyway, I am glad he's not in the same wacko camp as you with the RJDC nonsense.

Joe Merchant-

*In my best Donald Trump impersonation*

You have failed to adequately perform your job as secretary, you have your own personal agenda that is not in the best interests of your fellow ASA pilots, and you help create dissention(sp?) at a time when we need solidarity...

YOU'RE FIRED!!!
