ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport officials confirmed Thursday that an ASA commuter jet was forced to make some sort of emergency landing.
Delta officials said the plane may have experienced possible tire problems.
Fire and rescue crews responded to the scene.
Delta officials confirmed that everyone made it off the plane safely.
Operations at the airport were still running smoothly Thursday, and there were no reports of delays as a result of the incident.

Good job to the crew!

Glad everybody is OK.

Wonder if they knew they had a problem with the gear ahead of time, or a "surprise" gotcha on touchdown?

If the rumors I heard are correct; indeed the pilots did a good job. Incidents like this really bring home the point of the seriousness of the job and the talent the profession maintains, despite the lackluster wages, earning potential and job security. Perhaps a loyalty to this vocation akin to that of a teacher; Kudos to all involved.

They landed on 27R in ATL which is the longest runway we have and usually only used for departures. So im guessing they knew they had a problem

By the flight track looks as though they knew about it, Lt MLG problem, before hand and did an excellent job of dealing w/ it. Looks also like it was one the airframes from OH.

Anybody have a flight number or aircraft number?
