Why would Delta sell ASA to Virgin Atlantic when Virgin will become Competion against Delta and the rest of the hurting airlines. Why would delta help Virgin get going?? I don't believe it unless maybe down the road Delta Mgts is thinking of a Delta Virgin Atlantic USA part merger????????

His name is Joe, and is one of the most important men in aviation today. If you don't know him, you will.

Is that Smoking Joe two dots low?

If this rumor were true, wouldn't this be in violation of the SEC? Hence ASA gets sold, Delta gets a lump sum of cash to hold off bankruptcy, then the stock price spikes on April 6th. Also, why would Delta sell ASA as a competitor in ATL? It would be like having 2 Air Tran's. No Way.

New rumor

Rumor around Comair today is that ASA has in fact been sold to Skywest. Apparently, Kolshack (SP?) is coming in on Friday to make the annoucement to us as well as future plans for us. Again.. RUMOR is that the E-170 will be going to JFK and start competing with Jetblue on the 190 runs.
