Brian Morris is an idiot.... this is nothing new. Screws up everything he touches.

Oh boy get people excited then take it all away! SH@#!

Did this really require a new thread? There are currently 8 threads on the first page discussing the same topic. The moderation on this forum is terrible. You would think with all the ads, the owner could afford to pay a moderator to hold down the fort.

Dude, ANYTHING involving ASA news or doings requires a new thread. Brian Morristard sent out a NEW email detailing the recall ergo, a NEW thread was warranted. C'mon, you know these things.

Don't hate the playa....hate the game yo.

The only thing which sets the moderators off is Mormon jokes.

Gay, racist, homosexual, Jew, Lesbian, fat girls, Muslim...all those are allowed.

Oh yeah. And what you said.

BM has got to be the dumbest person at the Atlantic Southeast GO!!!!!!!!!

He screws up every bid that comes out!

If we flew airplanes the way he runs bids we'd be in BIG trouble!

He's got to go!!!!!

I doubt it is Morris that screws anything up. Considering our management team is a bunch of morons, I'm willing to bet they had another meeting and decided the company is going in a completely different direction or something.

So, this doesn't affect the additional 30 recalls right? I was told that recall notices should go out tonight or tomorrow.

You know Brian M used to play "Corky" on "Life Goes On" right? Cut him a break. He ties his own shoes these days. We're proud of you, B!

well they should make him an employee on paper and let someone that won't f it up everytime actually do the awards

I would have to believe the likely reason for this was more captains due to the desicion today to recall more furloughs. BM still manages to screw up most bids but this seems to be a likely scenario.

If i was an fo awarded a CPt slot and it changed due to a recall do I still get cpt pay at some point. Also a captain on reserve with potential to be a line holder bases on the final award, what's up? Anyone hear of this at another airline, anything in the contract that addresses this?

my guess is pilots squealing about junior guys being awarded the 70 when they wanted to transition over from the 200. I have a feeling super seniority may be the cause of most of it, however I wouldn't put anything past Morris

Does anyone even have super seniority? My understanding is that it only applies for six months after a displacement. I think it has been longer since the last one.

Yeah, not sure when it was exactly, but it must be pretty close to 6 months for the guys that were displaced with the last IAD capt award.....

There are a couple guys with the "super seniority" left. The other issue, if you are basing your comments on the standing bid list, is that thing is screwed up. If you are currently in your most favored position, it still shows your other choices, not always but for some. You can't really use it for what it is intended.

Wow you guys are hard on BM. Hopefully they realized the need for additional captains and they're just adding more Captains.

A recalled award won't affect the bottom line that they needed Captains and furloughs yesterday.

I bet we'll get a new Final tomorrow.
