Correct, credits do not apply for the look back, but you could still possibly credit over 75 hrs, without flying over 75 hrs. Do I think it will happen? Not really.
Trust me it will. Every one leg trip to the overnight (happens all the time on reserve)... 3.75. Every time they call you for a CHA turn where you fly there and DH back? 3.75. A nap will most likely pay 6-8 hours. That adds up quickly.
I talked to a guy in the crewroom that had 60 hours block this month, and if the new pay rules were implemented he'd be paid 90 hours. Figure even if he got 5-7 hours of premium he's coming out way ahead.
Now, if you don't fly much, then you're not going to break guarantee most likely. However, if you don't fly much you're not getting much premium either. It's pretty much a wash...
