WOW!! Delta pilots truely do believe they are God's gift to the aviation world! Simply unbelievable. Get a clue. Regional crews are trained to a high standard. Are you saying I'm not highly trained? I probably have more type ratings than you, passed more checkrides and I'm guessing has more time than you......Delta God. Get over yourself. You are an imbecile.

I agree, I have to say that ASA has one of the best training depts. in commercial aviation today.
You guys do an awesome job.

If you are such a great pilot as you claim, how come you are still at a commuter?

Yep-just as much as I want to be you....
I'm sure you do! I'm sure your man tanker clown will be real jealous of that!

I have always thought it would be cool to wear my ass on my shoulders.
Then why do you wear yours on your face?

It is really tough to pull off, but you make it look so easy-what's your secret?
I'm sure it's spending lots of time at the crj567 trailer!

LOL! Was gonna just ignore this.....but,

First off, I never did say I was a great pilot. Just challenged the idiodic assertion that REGIONAL pilots are not well trained or experienced.

Next, um....who is hiring? I sat out the last round because I was afraid that furloughs were ahead for those at the end of that wave, (just like they were all furloughed at the end of the previous one). Looks smart now, as CAL, UAL did furlough. NWA/Delta have not hired for quite some time, SWA not hiring. Get it.

And last...who says everyone wants to go to the big Legacy's? Why is that assumed. For me, right now, I don't want to commute nor move. I don't desire to be the bottom guy on reserve somewhere commuting to a filthy crash-pad. I make what I consider to be a nice living and I enjoy what I do.
(NOT TO MENTION NOBODY IS HIRING SMARTY!)

None of that means I am not well trained or not experienced, like you Gods of Aviation who have reached that golden pinnacle of the profession think.

Being at a legacy does not mean that you are a great pilot, more intelligent, or any other self-ordained claim.

Many of us know plenty of our former peers that were hired early on in the last hiring that not only did not meet any of those criteria, but because of their "body of work," our Company was glad to see them go anywhere.

Next argument, please?

How do you like PBS over line bidding?

Senior people love it because you do not have to pattern bid, though that is an option, and junior people do not like it.

It is efficient. No training, month to month and vacation conflicts. The system schedules you around it. It is very efficient. I have not been able to see anyone turn a week of vacation in to three, maybe 10 days or so but that is about it.

Our Navtec software lets you have about 75 or so preferences in it. It really takes some work to get good at it. A lot of people get nailed by the denial mode which reverts to reserve if they are not careful.

You get to see a greater variety of flying though.
