ASA ATR question

Airline Transport de Regional...

Half the time that bottom beacon would fill with water and not flash...sometimes it just "glows" a little instead of flashing.


I miss the bada bing...
 
ATR = "A Thousand Relays"
 
Originally, Avions de Transport Regional(e) (ofter with or without the "e") ... today it is simply ATR.

Which, roughly translated, is "regional airliner".
