DFW ORD % of increase/decrease
(year ending Q2 2004).
The bottom line of why AA is worried about DFW being challenged by LCC operating from Love....
"
On average, the DFW
yields are substantially higher. At the
very short distances (around 300 miles),
the DFW yields can be more than twice
those at O’Hare; at 900 miles more than
150%; at 1,200 miles, around 130%."....those would obviously decline if there was no Wright Amendment IMHO.
_________
Not related to above....heard first -300s to retire in '08....not confirmed obviously...that is further out than what I heard a year ago so consider the source....be skeptical obviously...cheers,
