Hi!

Their schedules vary. The top schedules actually have the trips on them ahead of time (like a scheduled airline does). Most of the guys are one reserve (days on, you're on reserve, days off you're off). Some have all the days off in a row, some have the days off spread out.

Cliff,

Did you get hired with them? Which plane? Good for you.

Bye Bye--General Lee

Hi!

Not hired there, or anywhere else, either.

I go that info from the MIA job fair.

Still looking....

Cliff, are the pay rates still $50/hr for the 55hr guarantee for first year? The $500.- /week is paid as salary, so the first 100 goes to uncle sam. It really should be paid as per diem since you use it for food and lodging. I'm pretty sure this was until completion of IOE, so the first 3 month you have quite a negative cashflow. 50x55=2750/month. Minus taxes and crashpad there will be about 1900 left over. For that money you get the experience of flying long days in unhospitable terrain in the middle of the night and 8 days home with mom and kids.
If you don't live in southern Fla, think about it

3 months for training and IOE, it that a realistic timeline? No state tax in florida, so that helps a little bit.

The way it used to go over there, that would be a short time frame. Though when they are tight they would get guys through in a hurry. All depends on how much flying they have in the pipeline.....

think there was news about the 330F being delayed from Airbus or something??? So who knows when one might actually be seen.
