I assume you mean for training? From what I have read on various message boards, the first couple weeks of indoc while you are in SF, yes you are required to get your own. But, as of now, sims are in either Dallas or MIA. So you will get hotel, per diem, and a rental car if sent to either of those locations. I dont know how long that will last. I heard VX is getting a sim in SF, so if that happens, you will have to find your own place since you are "based" in SF for training.

No more sim training in DFW. No rental car was provided in DFW either. Some new hires will still go to Miami to train at Airbus for a few more months. The rental car in MIA is provided by Airbus, not by VX.

SFO sim officially opens March 1, but apparently some limited training has been taking place over the past few weeks. More and more new hires will be trained in SFO as training credits wind down. Rumor is another sim arriving mid summer. IMHO anyone applying or interviewing should prepare to do all training in SFO.
