Dude,

You have 4700 hours and you want to go work for those ass clowns? There's a reason that they've lost more than half the seniority list this year...

Why don't you tell us what you REALLY feel, chperplt?

;)

j328ernest,

Dude, listen to Chperplt!!! Don't do it!!! For the love of God, man, look at the lines on our faces!!! Okay well, they're there... And that place did it to us!

Sup, Chper? Miss ya', bro!

Jason

J328,
Unless you have next to zero PIC, Colgan will do nothing for you except piss you off. If that is your case, it is a place to gain PIC in a hurry, but will still piss you off. "Colgan Air - we don't need no stinkin' regs", should be their motto. The lines on the face that FAJ speak of are real, as are the gray hairs. See the many other threads about them. Go to one of the many RJ companies that are hiring, even if it's a few more years to the left seat. If you do have substantial PIC, get your as- in gear and find someone in JB or AT, or go to the job fairs and talk to the HR folks -- this does work as there were quite a few that did this (job fair) in the last few new-hire classes at AT, many with a lot less hours than you show. Good luck.

I spotted 2 more Colgan escapees at FSI in St. Louis. We all have the same story and its not pretty. It bears mentioning that those who have posted in this thread are stand up people, not disgruntled problem children. Listen to them!!!

Wrong

what a bunch of whiners. I can say for a fact that it is not a bad place to work. Lots of challenging flying and good experience. Worked there for Many years.

ATTENTION PLEASE...ANYONE WHO CAN SAY FOR A FACT THAT COLAN AIR IS "NOT" A BAD PLACE TO WORK IS EITHER MANAGEMENT OR AN OWNER.. OR BOTH.

The poster above, who worked at Colgan Air for many years, and calls us whiners is NOT the type of pilot you want flying passengers around. Anyone who thinks that it's ok to be pressured to fly an airplane with an engine that won't feather, an engine that has repeated compressor stalls, or work for a company that knowingly sends an airplane out when they know it will have control problems, should not be a passenger carrying pilot.

Hmm... Got to wonder about someone who calls another pilot a whiner for complaining about unairworthy aircraft... JB, DN, TB.. is that you??

hey chperply u need to grow up shut up and just swing the gear and flaps of that crj....u have no clue on what u r talking about..
