If the other side sucks and we are wrong, most of us have ATP's and a few thousand hours of PIC 121 jet. We will be back if things are really that bad in the real world, but a jobs a job.

I like my family and friends more than i like flying (and i have been a flying maniac since i was 4 years old) but this isn't my dream. Congrats if its yours.

For the newbs that haven't figured it out, flying for the airlines is a lifestyle, not a job or career. It just happens that I love flying but hate the lifestyle, its a sad ending, I will probably have a bunch of flight sims on my home computer to get my hit of flying but thats about it. Im excited about the future...more family/friends, less cell phone calls home on x-mas.

So a pilot named JASON IANIRO at Skywest boasts on a public forum that he's called in sick 29 times in the past 12 months.
Wow, real smart there. Are we supposed to be impressed, 'cause I'm just laughing...

You know the rules if you call another pilot out, you have to give your full name or your just an online p#$$y

When are we going to even get functioning acars messages from dispatch in the emb? BTW dispatch is a waste. One day when asking about the weather there response was to watch the weather chanel.

Well, geez, I stand corrected. I didn't realize it takes "courage" to do what is best for your health and family. It always comes naturally to me. My family and health come first--courage not required. I guess you're one of those guys that wants a cookie for "doin' what you 'posed to do." Furthermore, giving him credit for anything speaks a ton about your work ethics. I guess when I'm ready to "punch out" I'll just walk off on a turn. Nothing like leaving your crew, aircraft, and returning passengers in CUN. After all, it'll just be me "having a little fun on my way out."

I say again: Some peoples' children!

What are you 4 tears old?
Go play with fire.

Dispatch does not program the AFIS units. You might want to ask your Fleet Manager that question. I call BS on your weather channel comment. If it's true, give me the flight and date and I'll have someone pull the phone call.

I'm sure the fellow pilots that were called in on their days off to fill the empty slot of this guy won't mind him calling in sick another 29 days next year. Buddy is only half a word.

Radiohofo

Okay . . . I'm not gonna read 8 pages of this before I say this, so if it's been said, I apologize . . .

We have USER time, not SICK time. I don't know about anybody else, but I have never called in "sick," I tell the person at Crew Support that I need the time off. I have never been questioned about it.

They give you the time, it is yours to use. That's what reserves are for.

Good thing is.....you look like a stay at home dad. SkyWest and this industry is better off without you.

Geez! Some peoples' kids. Saddest part is that now this is gonna be another Jason Jr. running around. And in 20-some years he'll be bragging about stupid crap just like his dad. I'm pretty sure he'll have a stupid picture of himself on the web too.

I'm not impressed about him boasting how many days off he called in sick, but attacking his family is way out of line. If I was Jason I'd kick your A$$.

whatever, its a crappy thing to do.
No, the crappy thing was calling in sick 29 times and BOASTING about it on the internet. Oh, want to remain anonymous? Then don't post.
Papps: I won't post your real name because you haven't made such a ridiculous claim on a public forum, you silly 29-year old PeaKnuckle pilot.

Jason, I flew with you several years ago and I found you to be very a professional first officer and I enjoyed flying with you. You had the good sense to marry a Dr. I wish you well for the future. However your posts both here and back when you used to post on Sapa just made you look like an idiot. If you want to help the ALPA cause you should not be on the OC.

Man, this thread keeps going on and on and ON. From what I understand, he did not really call in sick 29 times. It was a computer error and he was just having fun with it. Get over it people.

You freakin toolbox.

Don't you have a flight or 2 to monitor? Now STFU add 50lbs to the release fuel, and start typing, when I tell you too. Your self inflated notion of self importance is boring. I could get my RJ from DEN to BOI just fine without you, in fact most days I do because you really don't do anything in the big scheme of things, just type on a keyboard all day. Don't even compare yourself to a Real Dispatcher, 'cause you aren't even close! During my commutes(UAL,DAL,F9, LUV ect.), in the jumpseat I see tons of communication from dispatch alerting the pilots to WX, turb pireps and other kinda important stuff. In 10 years at SKYW the only communication from dispatch in flight has been to call Screwskeduling for tater stretching. So go back to your little screen and keep fantasizing, you have a function that would entitle you to an opinion.
PBR

Damn XPOO, you just got owned. Last time I checked this was FLIGHTinfo, not SITONYOURBUTTinfo, so take a hike troll

Im not 29, but your close, and I don't work for PeaKnuckle anymore. You probably looked at my old posts and figured that out. The fact that you would take the time to do that is sad. I also see that you edited your post to make it look like you posted my real name the first time through. Thats sad too.

I use generic birthdays and names on my registrations for websites like these because there are so many retards out farming for info. If you think you know my real name then e-mail me or call me so we can talk about how big of a looser you are.
