Just wondering if anyone has heard any updates from the NPA. Any word of meetings with the mediator or company. Been a bit quiet on the website and not many emails either.

It's been pretty quiet. I thought we would have had the NPA forum back by now. They just had their 1st BOD meeting and I'm sure behind the scenes a lot is going on.

2008 will probably be a hell of a year. Mergers right around the corner and contract talks hopefully starting in the spring. Has anyone heard who is being considered to be on the contract negotiating committee?

Our new president is a great tactician. I don't think as much information will be passed along as we have seen in the past. Just his style.

With a little help from the pilot group (God help us) I think we'll have a deal by the fall.

Everyone needs to be patient. With the long drawn out runoff elections, the new leadership has just finally been put together a few weeks ago. It takes time to build new committees, especially a negotiating committee. I'm sure there's lots of work going on behind the scenes.
