Yes your right...but the contract with united is based on flying 66 seat aircraft as opposed to the 50 seat a/c. Both parts of trans states holdings ( gj and trans states) operate on separate budgets meaning that it is possible for gj side to lose money and trans states side to make money....if our labor costs go up, than the GJ side will be a money loser for Hulas and he probably wouldn't stand operate GJ for very long....as far as three years...just a guess....we have probably at least thirty pilots that came over with at least ten years seniority in tact and the other 100 or so are less than a year.

Your missing the point....I dont care if all pilots are less than one year tenure...that brings our labor cost down way less...the point im making is that if the seniority list merge than GJ potentially could have all the pilots on their payroll making ten years plus pilot pay...gj would than go from an average of first year pilot pay labor cost to ten year pilot pay labor costs.....Im sure most regionals would love every pilot to move on after a year or two just to keep labor costs down. Right now GJ labor costs are the lowest in the industry because of low seniority pilots on board making 56 an hour as a captain and 23 an hour as an fo.
No chance of merging seniority lists.

Again your wrong....what a surprize.....teamsters could easily drag any managment decisions in courts for years because a judge has ruled that we are allowed to have teamsters negociate on our behalf.....as far as Hulas wanting one group...no way...we have 150 pilots with average tenure of two to three years...our contact with United is based on margins with low tenured pilots....throw in 150 tsa guys that have eight years seniority and it would probably double our labor cost.....Ain't Gonna Happen.......but hopeful thinking on your part. I know this is going to get me flamed but the problem at TSH is the Management not the guys that went to GJ. Waterski guys going at it with Gateway guys is doing *exactly* what Uncle H wanted. You guys are so pissed at each other that you're not watching for what he's going to do to f*** you next.

One of the weaker arguments out there. HK could care less about us "fighting" with g0jet. he just wants low costs and an alter ego carrier/ whipsawing TSA does that in two clear ways. Flies 70 seaters for nothing and threatens TSA pilots with more cuts. That is it.

So if we hold hands with g0jet pilots we "see what he's going to do" next?

Yeah, Your tsa guys are even jumpseating on us out of chicago....the other day a guy showed up with anti gj stickers on his bag and we said that he had to take them off...we didnt want our customers seeing them. He was happy to take them off instead of saying he would catch the next flight....Once again....We win and even your own dont care.

I get no days off.....six dollars an hour...gotta pay for my own hotel and they make us pay for jet fuel....you can see it all on flight info...nothing but facts here. I am happy because i get to fly a beautiful new jet.
