Your missing the point....I dont care if all pilots are less than one year tenure...that brings our labor cost down way less...the point im making is that if the seniority list merge than GJ potentially could have all the pilots on their payroll making ten years plus pilot pay...gj would than go from an average of first year pilot pay labor cost to ten year pilot pay labor costs.....Im sure most regionals would love every pilot to move on after a year or two just to keep labor costs down. Right now GJ labor costs are the lowest in the industry because of low seniority pilots on board making 56 an hour as a captain and 23 an hour as an fo.
No chance of merging seniority lists.

Rumor has it that some gj pilots were asking new Shuttle America pilots why they don't apply to gj because the upgrade times are going to be twice as fast. I think this happened at Flight Safety in St. Louis. As far as I know, it is just a rumor. No source or anything. I heard it though, I swear.
