It wasn't some filthy rich guy in his toy. It was a volunteer pilot who flew a B-17 to airports to share his love of flying with the general public and let many have a chance to see these old war birds for the first time while a few still exist.
The guy saved everyones life onboard. No public, just flight and ground crew, but none the less he did a heck of a job. The plane caught fire on a repositioning flight and he successfully put it down in a field. Everyone evacuated and if the fire could have been extinguished at that point the plane itself would have been saved. But the fire trucks had trouble reaching the plane in the field and she burned to the ground.
Despite the fact no one was hurt it's still tragic to see this beautiful machine lost.
Maybe you have been woken up?

Fly safe
If they can secure this niche market and control costs...I'd say yes, this company has a chance.
Still doesn't mean he has any business running an Airline like some of the "Kids" think, This Country needs no more airlines, and I'm sure if it starts up, their will be someone willing to fly for them for nothing...Guys have got to STOP thinking this way, Pay your dues, earn the seat! PERIOD!
