That's horrible! I know of individual cases where pilots were told by ALPA reps their jobs weren't worth saving, but a group of 40-60? GMAFB ALPA!

Do you have any hard numbers of Comair's performance in fuel savings/mx costs?
According to the DOT for 2008 through this September, 27.04% of Comair's flights were late. Completion Factor was 96.58%.

Yeah but that doesn't take into account the six or seven that Delta is trying to sell immeditely that are not lease returns! These are owned outright by Comair....which means it's a viloation of your side letter agreement to the PWA. Damn! I wish we could have another conference call with the head honcho so we can ask him all about it!:smash:

That was then, this is now. Where are they? Have you heard from them? I have flown with several guys who have been calling reps, but according to them, they're all MIA.

Man, you have to see these awesome pins they're giving us!!! They say "Giving 100%". They're so awesome!! I can understand and forgive the company for not giving us the Honey Baked Hams this year. Screw eating, I got a pin to show everyone that I give 100% every day!
Oh, after I get furloughed, you can find this nifty pin for sale on Ebay. Better watch for it though, I promise you it won't be on there very long. Everyone is after on of these bad boys!

That's crap. I'll bet you a ham if you call a rep, you'll get a call back. You may not like what they have to say, but the reps (JFK, at least) aren't ignoring calls.

I was a Summer 2002 hire that left Comair (and the industry) in 2004. What class date are the forecast furloughs back to? Just checking on my training class, bunch of good guys (and gals).

CA downgrades are up to 17800s (although some more senior CAs chose to become CVG FOs vs. JFK CAs).

I haven't seen an updated furlough list but it's going bak @ two years.
 
New furlough list is out, goes back to 1/07...
 
I'd like to know how someone can hold such a grudge. Quite frankly, I think he really doesn't care either way but just gets his jollies by getting everyone's blood pressure up on the internet.

Besides, the people being furloughed at Comair (myself included in this last round) had nothing to do with what he whines about.

I heard from a friend that DAL pilots would be welcoming the FURLOUGHED comair pilots if they do start to hire again because they do realize that the people being furloughed have nothing to do with the sanctimonious leadership of COMAIR post 9/11.
In fact, I don't think they will even have to give up their COMAIR seniority number.

And no, the Comair pilots will not be issued DOH seniority into the new SLI list.....

Gotta love FI, where pilots josh each other and kid around over dead collegues, friends and family!

God forbid you fly a Delta jet and the crew forgets to set the slats/flaps (31 August 1988; 727; Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, TX), or lands short and hits a sea wall (31 July 1973; DC9-31; Boston, MA).

Maybe you'll get hit by a semi on your way to work this week and your kids will be fatherless! Oh, you know, just kidding! Happy Holidays!
