oh wait, he seemed to be very excited about it in a couple WSJ articles.

That was then, this is the Obama "summer of recovery part two", NOT.

Swa paid 15 cents a share dividend this last quarter.

AT's contribution was 1 cent of the 15.

See anything wrong with that?

If AT is 28% the size of SWA, they should have contributed 28% or 4.5 cents, they actually contributed less than 7%.

They came in 75% below where they should have been.

Doesn't matter to arbitrators. How did Colgan do prior to the PNCL/Mesaba merger? Did you see how they were blended in? Don't get too confident.

extremely better benefits
better job security
better culture
over $3 Billion for the pilot group (yes, BILLION)
Pretty much one of the most highly desired jobs Aviation

What do you guys bring? ATL? Ok, that's fair.

I agree with the first point.

I will assume the next is true.

Is 3 BIL a guarantee? There are no guarantees in this business. The big $ can be here today gone tomorrow. If you like I would take 2 MIL after taxes and be out. :D

Is there really a highly desired job in aviation anymore? ;)

I see a problem from a business stand point.
