Little correction for the reporter....

You don't "Win" a purple heart!

That is a very true statement. I applaud that guy for even being among us and you for pointing that out to all of us who many times take it for granted.

Didn't Benton West pass away? Bad juju, dude. We all find ourselves in funky situations from time to time and armchair quarterbacking is chicken********************.

The other video though....ha! Not something I'd want my pilots to see if I were and ALPA "leader". Lose weight fatties!

He did pass away in a car wreck. Guess what?? We are all headed 6 feet deep anway so whatever. The guy flew into a thuderstorm and the pax were calling him a hero. Being dead now is irrelavent.

More than good. In case you haven't figured it out.... it will never get that far. Arbitration would be like winning a $million judgement against a homeless dude for you slipping and falling in his piss on your sidewalk. You aint gonna see it. Take care!

Oh the glory of your gloating is amazing! You already told your boss that it's your way or the highway? You already demanded of him to go back on his word, and announce to the world that this is a job cutting venture and not the other way around? He agrees with you on putting families on the street?

You are challenging your boss to a duel without even realizing it. This is his baby. He set out to do this. Now you want to tell him that unless you get your way, he's not allowed to carry out his plan? Assuming for one second that you are successful, best of luck on your sec.6 negotiations. Watch and learn how a management team, with the RLA and the laws in place, can have its way. At that time I'll be the first one to tell you, "welcome to the real world of contract negotiations." Pay cuts anybody? Nah, not you, you'll have ATL all to yourself!

I think you are underestimating GK's wrath. He will not be a happy camper if you force his had. Assuming that you do, you too will find out what airline management can really be like.

Wasn't it in the Process Agreement, signed by GK and SWAPA? Your next offer to the Airtran guys had better be a lot better. That's probably what you meant, you are being positive and hoping SWAPA does the fair thing, isn't that right? Good for you! Ok, no arbitration then.....

Tell me again what did you want us to give up 30% of our seniority for?

extremely better benefits
better job security
better culture
over $3 Billion for the pilot group (yes, BILLION)
Pretty much one of the most highly desired jobs Aviation

What do you guys bring? ATL? Ok, that's fair.

Ask GK, he wanted to do it. Maybe he will be asked by someone, oh wait, he seemed to be very excited about it in a couple WSJ articles. Oh, you also forgot airplane orders, DCA entry, more LGA slots, international routes and authorities, and getting rid of a competitor, besides gaining ATL. Yeah, it may be more fair than you think.
