Just received an application but no indication if a fee is required. I know a couple of years ago they required it. Can anyone confirm yea or nea?

As of a year ago they still required the $50 processing fee. It should say on the cover letter to the app. If you're not sure I would call somebody in HR before sending it in. Also, I believe the app specifically states that it should be handwritten so you won't have to worry about typing the thing. Good luck.

App fee was still required as of about a year ago. If you reside in Michigan or a few other states (I believe they're listed on the app.) you don't have to pay the fee.

I did not type mine- also paid the $50 app fee back in January when I turned it in.
