Hello, I am a private pilot that started my YouTube channel on 2/25/2024. I fly a PIPER CHEROKEE WARRIOR PA-28-161 based out of KHFD (Hartford, CT) I am currently growing, and I would like to share a few of my YouTube Videos from the past year below. I also have an Instagram account that I use to post some shorter versions of my flying experiences. I invite you to check out my content and if it's something you are interested in, please consider subscribing. I am currently going for my complex rating in the PA-28R-200 ARROW. Look for content in that airplane coming soon!

Here is a video on my return trip into KHFD. I just got off of flight following with Bradley approach and am coming back to land at my home base in Hartford, CT. I am traveling east 060. We are using Runway 2 at Hartford-Brainard. Another aircraft is approaching from the opposite direction heading 270, however I initially thought the aircraft was right behind me. The tower is sequencing us. It's a little bumpy today and a warm day for March.

The next video goes with the one above, it is about the PIREP I made due to the turbulence I ran into during the flight. It got some feedback on Reddit. Reddit Post

This flight bummed me out for a few days. I could not close the deal on Runway 35 at Danbury, CT. I was not managing my energy properly on final. I had a bunch of little distractions leading up to this landing that caused me to miss the last notch of flaps, come in too hot and had to abort the landing. The view was breathtaking however! I will be back to this airport to try again.

After my failed landing attempt in KDXR, I contacted my CFI and asked for a refresher on Short Field Landings. We are from CT and picked a short one along the Connecticut River. The airport is 42B and it is 2,100' long by 50' wide. It built my confidence up again and made me realize to keep these skills up to par even after 150 hours and 23 years of flying. We can get rusty! Please enjoy the long, unedited practice at Goodspeed.

I woke up to a super calm day yesterday in Connecticut. Taking advantage of this fine morning, I decided to practice my non-towered airport operations. Come ride along with me in this unedited (timewise) trip to 4B8 Robertson in Plainville, CT. Chapters are set up to jump around as it's a 44-minute-long video! Have a wonderful Day.

The following video is part of the 4B8 Flight from last Saturday. YouTube somehow ruined the video footage I uploaded with rubber banding, and it is skipping at the end around the 36-minute mark. I redid the last five minutes of the approach with JUST external view and the ATC audio piped in. See if you can see the student pilot Im following in #2 cleared to land on Runway 2.

I would like to thank all those that have watched a few of my videos in the past "Tree" months. In appreciation of your support, I would like to offer: A paid in full Discovery Flight experience, located at Meriden Aviation Center at Markham Airport (KMMK) in Meriden, CT. Please watch the video below for more information.

Hello veterans, salute to you on this Memorial Day Weekend. I took to the sky in Hartford, CT yesterday to knock some rust off in the traffic pattern. I also experimented with a new GoPro setting to increase the quality of the footage. Check it out and be sure to watch it at the highest setting.

Please enjoy the double flyovers from this week!

I flew on Saturday over Seymour, CT as requested by a fan/viewer of my channel. Live in CT, MA, NY or RI and want a flyover? Let me know.

Then on Sunday I took a tour of the Connecticut River from Hartford, CT to Old Saybrook, CT. I sped the video up 400% and the 60fps GoPro camera did not let me down. Listen to your favorite Youtuber comment on this flight as an added treat.
Have a Sparkling day!

I received my Complex Endorsement in the Piper Arrow last month and am currently building seat time to get more comfortable with the Avionics and V-speeds. I picked a short hop from Meriden, CT to HArtford, CT to practice. Check out the Sunrise flight 6:40am from last Friday!

Coming back into KHFD from a sight-seeing flight, the Tower asked me to perform a right 360-degree turn for spacing. Took the time to relax and enjoy the local scenery. Come along for the ride! ATC audio, captions and an under-wing GoPro camera recording at 60fps take in these views!

On a calm VFR day in August, I take to the skies over Connecticut, capturing the experience with three GoPro cameras. This flight showcases the true essence of general aviation—complete freedom as I navigate across the state, taking in the lush green scenery from 2,700 feet.

A friend of mine and I took to the skies over Hartford CT for the last week of August. The skies were calm and lovely for this 1/2-hour flight around the city. We had a LADYBUG stuck in the window ledge of the Piper Warrior as we were orbiting over his house. We captured the little fella on the GoPro.

The weather was borderline VFR all morning and I pushed my flight from the morning to 4 hours later in the day. I wanted to get up in the air and just opted for some pattern work, I wasn't going to even film. The winds were shifting all around during my preflight, but the windsock was flopped down and the weather reports were all over the place. I had my mind set on practicing short field landings. I was not expecting to balloon and decided the best thing to do was perform a go around.

When was your last balloon? What did you do? After watching the video would you have tried to salvage the landing?
