No one is going to do anything for us but ourselves. Unfortunately there is a misconception out there that ALPA is the name of some guy who is going to come aboard and fix everything. We are ALPA. We will be Commutair ALPA. We will do things that are best for us, and if big brother wants to Scope us they can do it even if we are non union. Plus scope is good since keeps the big paying jobs at the majors, where I want to be in the future.
If you knew anything about where the dues go you would know that it’s the mainline guys who are subsidizing the regional pilots.
The guys at the majors do make a lot of money, but they also contribute almost all the PAC money.
