I'm willing to bet that the big announcement was the sale of Island Air although the rumor said that AQ employees will be happy, although I don't know of any one that's happy about it. I know we're getting profit-sharing checks for sure. Maybe that's it...

Looks like inter-island airfares are back down to $59 a leg if you know to look on line. Another piece of the puzzle but I dont think it takes a Sherlock to realize theres no $hit here.

They announced the $79 fares only last Friday. Now that wasnt low enough? "lets make it $59"

I thought we lost money at prices that low? Ah prob only 10 seats per flight or something.

Some of us in AK havent had a sunrise since before Thanksgiving. Won't have one until about Jan 20th. Can't wait for my week in Vegas next month. I'll be the only person wearing shorts and short sleaves in 50 degree weather, and sweating!
