Which check airman and which training center?

A few months ago you're flaming Allegiant and now you work here?

I was chatting with a Allegiant jumpseater the other day and in the course of discussing what life was like there and other things, he mentioned that a good portion of their business is becoming seasonal especially with oil where it is. That said, financially they seem like a sound company, but perhaps its a seasonal downsizing.

We have seasonal slowdowns every year... That's just our business plan. No need to keep the schedule going when people aren't traveling as much. The slowdown affects some bases more than others.

We've got a class in the sim right now and more airplanes on the way. Doesn't look like we're even close to furloughing anyone to me. I'll guess we'll see in a few weeks what the oil has done to our first quarter results.

Grey Ghost likes to pretend he knows everything about this company because he cleans the pool of one of our pilots. I've got him on the ignore list again.

Just keep combing the Las Vegas high school parking lots in that sweet ride with 18 speakers that you were bragging about that you drive!

We just announced the resumption of our GSO service now that Skybus is no longer there.

I guess they can cancel the furlough notices now.

Grey Ghost... Isn't that another name for a discolored crap?

There are times when we do have too many pilots and a furlough could be warranted, but the logistics of doing that are tricky. Rretraining and furloughing just because you have too many pilots for a period of a month or 2 is not worth it. Then you have pop up charter deals that seem to happen all the time, it is better to have plenty of pilots to fly the planes.

Get back to the regional forum, you troll.
You're the troll! I thought I saw both of you on that tv show "Online Predators" with Chris Hanson! I saw that cute little tattoo on your wrist when you showed up at the "decoy's house" with beer and condoms! Patrick and GJ, to answer chprpilot's question!

I really love that feature.

I typed "Grey Ghost" into a on line dictionary and this is what I came up with.

Main Entry: Grey-Ghost
Function: noun
Pronunciation: Grey-Ghost</I>

a mass of dilated veins in swollen tissue at the margin of the anus or nearby within the rectum -- usually used in plural -- called also </I>piles

This is a quote from our PR office today talking about the AA groundings.

“We worked very closely with the FAA and we remain compliant with the original airworthiness directive and we expect no disruptions to our schedule,” Squyres said. "They are absolutely good planes. The fact that we just acquired six more aircraft shows our assurance of the aircraft and their reliability and safety.

We're so close to furlough, they just went out and bought more airplanes.

Hey, thats just what GJ said in training! don't shoot the messenger!!! I guess ill be off reserve in vegas in no time then!

I seriously doubt that you work at Allegiant. If you do, you really need to learn to distinguish between who is in the know, and who isn't. BTW, he is not a check airman.

Judging by how you're treating some of our pilots on this board, I can't wait to fly with you :puke:

IF he works for Allegiant, he's won't be here long.

next time you're there the gargetos in the vending machine keep getting stuck on the side of the machine, you need to move them to a different row or something.

Glad we could be of service! ;)

Say hi to my buddy Terry if you bump into him at Williams.. I got him the interview there when I got cold feet last year.. Wish I'd kept it now!

best wishes.

Hmmmm.....Vegas based newhire FO from Mesa Airlines......taking every opportunity, actually going out of his way, to bash his fellow pilots on flightinfo.com. Not even out of class yet and you are already buring bridges. Not very smart! Did GJ explain in Basic Indoc how upgrade works at AAY?

For what it's worth...

I'm pretty sure it's not anyone in the current class. Only two from Mesa and both were extremely happy to be here. None of us got Vegas either.

More to the point I was trying to make......AAY is a small pilot group and bashing your fellow pilots on FI because you think its anonymous isn't smart. Everyone gets a fair shake......but if Grey Ghost's post on FI are a measure on his character and lack on judgement he will stick out like a sore thumb in this pilot group!

NO KIDDING.

Looks like we just picked up a former Champion route (according to worryfreevacations.com) out of OKC, so look for short notice interviews/classes to begin.

No company announcement yet, but they've got it on their site already.

According to the web site, OKC to LAS, Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, and Riviera Nayarit. Also shows TUL-LAS.

Starting in June...
