Allegiant Sucks!

Was hanging out with some Allegiant dudes the other day and they told me that Allegiant charges their customers 3 bucks for ALL beverages on board, including canned water! (12 ounce)

Now this I figure is ah, O.K.

But then he tells me that the crew has to pay also!

Doesn't sound like a good deal....
but if I didn't WORK for Allegiant, I'd hesitate before posting
a topic like "Allegiant Sucks".....if I were an Allegiant pilot
(I'm not) and the job were OK otherwise, I might think that
carrying my own beverage was a good idea.
Allegiant pilots: is this true? and is the company OK otherwise?

I'm not sure that charging the customers is such a good idea, but charging the crews is absolutely brilliant! During these challenging economic times, that certainly should help.

It appears we have an Allegiant pilot on our hands,

It is true, 2 Allegiant dudes told me this is fact over a few beers this last weekend.

As the old saying goes, "There ain't no free lunch". BTW, I heard on the news a few days ago that Eagle tried this for a while out of Los Angeles, and apparently it didn't go over so well.
