A minor point. The earnings you see posted are for Allegiant Travel. Allegiant Travel also happens to run an airline. The gross/net revenues include all income from the sale of show tickets, local transportation in LAS, hotel rooms, etc, etc. That's not to say Allegiant isn't a well run business, but the numbers are not just for an airline operation. A significant portion of their overall revenue is from things not directly related to the operation of the airline.
Please don't infer any negative connotation from my point. I'm not implying anything other than there is slightly more to the story than simply saying Allegiant (the airline) made money. Allegiant Travel Company made money. Allegiant Airlines losses/profits are diluted by what the rest of the Allegiant Travel Company does.
