In fact I just looked it up and 12 year Alaska Capt/FO pay is 154/97 per hour. At Jetblue it is 139/76 although they do get the premium above gurantee. So Alaska's pilots are pretty much industry standard now.

...hmmm, you're not comparing apples to apples. There are no 12 year Captains at JetBlue. The most senior JB Captain has around 6-7 years seniority. So, his/her pay is at that level. What does a 6 year Captain at Alaska make? Any of those lineholders?

You are both right. The operating profit was $84M...but with one time charges, etc it was (5.9M). Profit sharing pays on operating profit and does not take into account the charges.

The total net income is a worthless number in this case. It included a bunch of one time bs write-offs that occurred right before our may 1 arbitration decision. The company profited $85 million last year. Your "fact checking" leaves that little tidbit out.

There are no 6 year captains at alaska. The Junior open flying captains are at 10-11 years. I think regular lineholders are somewhere around the 14 year mark......so figure that until you hit about 14 years you are only going to get min guarantee which is 75 hours

reserves get the monthly max minus 9 hours.

You usually get paid 76 hours, unless they flex a base up.
