If you live on the East Coast JetBlue, West Coast Alaska.

I have applied to both. Offers from neither. It's a moot point...

If you live on the west coast then you could also work for JetBlue- base in Long Beach now and possibly a base in OAK at some point in the future maybe?

If you are looking for a quick upgrade- less than 7 or 8 years then Alaska is probably not a good choice and I would go with JetBlue. If you would like do do some cool flying in and out of very challenging airports with lots of special procedures then Alaska maybe the place to make your home.
