Really general it's just can we outlast you(and with 2.5 million posts..we can't)..you Trot out the same arguments again and again and eventually if just gets boring...that is the truth

DL is just trying to build an Asian network through SEA since NRT isn't working so well. I'm not sure SEA will be the answer they are looking for:

For a long time [Delta Air Lines'] hub at Narita (~40 miles outside Tokyo) was a competitive advantage. But in 2010 the Japanese government started allowing U.S. airlines to fly to downtown Tokyo via Haneda, lessening Narita’s value. [United Continental and American Airlines] have also implemented JVs with Japanese airline partners while [Delta Air Lines] seems to be in some sort of commercial spat with its Asian partner, Korean Air. [Delta Air Lines] has gone to great lengths to organically compete in Asia in part by building up Seattle (to [Alaska Air's] detriment), but we believe some of the new flights might not be working as well as planned.

[Delta Air Lines] is still a compelling story because of its cash flow and robust network outside of Asia, but we expect the Asian strategy to change in the coming quarters given many challenges (which of course may reverse if the Japanese Yen rallies, too). This could be a positive for [Alaska Air].

That is your defeatist attitude, and my arguments actually make sense. Look, DL is going to do what they want to do, and they have the money and expertise. Enjoy JNU in the slow season, and you'll see DL there during the busy season. Get used to it. I'm just happy all the connections aren't going to you guys anymore. Inhouse or internal flying is always better.

The NRT hub is fine, but the slots are worth less due to new LCCs in Japan coming in, and ANA and JAL doing more INTRA Asia flying from Haneda. Soooo, DL intends to do more point to point service from SEA. They will hit the same cities, but do the big connections in SEA, not NRT as much. Japan to Hawaii is still strong. And DL just ordered 10 more additional A330s within the next few years, and will be used for those point to point nonstops from you know where....

Good try boys, but DL has known about this for a long time, and luckily can have different areas around the World to focus on when one area is a bit weaker due to lower currency exchange, like the yen now. You guys have always had a monopoly on SEA and AK, which is now threatened. No wonder you are nervous. And what's up with Horizon and your intra AK flying? Yikes!
