But since you guys have already said that SWAPA will not negotiate in good faith, what would be the point of meeting anyway?

Exactly. That would be called pi$$ing in the wind.

But really, what's the point anyway? Inviting the AT team to Dallas for negotiations when you say that SWAPA will not negotiate in good faith is insulting, and does not reflect well on SWAPA's integrity.

Historically, the SWA "culture" shows they have no integrity. Except for a Swingline love, that is.

So there was an agreement yet it didn't get sent to the membership and who is the bad faith party. You may not have liked the details but SWAPA was going to let their pilots participate in deciding their futures. Step back off the ledge and see what you are throwing at us. AAI alpa decided not to cimetidine to Dallas this week and SWAPA is at fault?
Your own pilots here are saying that SWAPA isn't going to negotiate in good faith even though they invited the AT team to Dallas for further negotiations. I'm simply repeating what they say.

The AT MEC saw your deal and considered it terrible. They asked their members personally, and decided. It seems like they are now following the Process Agreement. Why are you so upset?

Nope, nothing in the inbox. I suppose we will see shortly if it's true.

SWAPA always acts in good faith. You may not like the truth or the outcome but that is a product of being bought by the dominant domestic carrier. A bottom feeder got bought by the big dog.

I just got a call from a AirTran friend. I guess it may be true. He said he just heard his union sent an update that they were not coming to Dallas this week. He hadn't read the update but said he heard it on the crew van.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was true. ALPA hasn't made very many wise decisions lately.

Not true.

MEC. Temp Comm Chair posted 10 min ago on internal message board to this rumor saying no change of plans.

Not sure what email your "source" is looking at.

Maybe they want to follow the Process Agreement that everyone signed?

Sounds like they are dip *hit!

It sure sounds like the SWA guys here are terrified of letting the agreement play out. Gee, I wonder why.
