Well I didn't go to Wharton either. But I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I think there is a huge gap between those who look one year out and those that look 10 years out. Few want to make sacrifices in the short term for long term goals. The same can be said about taking a risk for uncertain long term rewards. This may be easy for 20 somethings with no kids but is hard for others.

Those that have money are trying to figure out how to keep it. Those that don't, or want more, are trying to figure out ways to wrestle it away from those that have it.

The government can't please everyone. It is often a zero sum game and someone is going to lose something.

BTW, I only drink spring water and pure grain alcohol. Be afraid of flouridation. Its a communist plot. They are trying to pollute our essence.

Pilots need more flouride, therefore we can get more concessions out of the dull cowlike minded plane driving slaves....

Fluoride....

Supported by all airline management. (Don't use the Blue toothpaste, use Tom's of Maine, it contains no flouride!)

I like the thought of re-regulation, myself.

Ahhhh, to be at Pan Am in 1964 . . . . . . . when pilots were paid, and Air Hostesses were weighed.

Sigh.

Ill toast to that!!! Bring back the people who hired the original PSA Flight attendants!!!!
