It's Allen. He's alarmist, has been like this since I got involved.
He's been saying (to anyone who will listen) that he believes we'll pass this up, spend another year or more negotiating, then end up with nothing better than we already have in this T.A. and will have given up the pay raises we would have received that whole time.
I say, if HE doesn't think we can do better, then he's OBLIGATED to step down for the benefit of the pilot group and let someone who CAN and WILL work to obtain a VASTLY improved CBA.
We have a lot of momentum from the "Vote NO" campaign, a lot of people are ready to help, we need to keep that momentum going and BUILD ON IT, not let it pass us by. We've got a good shot here to really build some solidarity; I hope whoever ends up in office capitalizes on it.
