How come USAir (non-ALPA) still let's them abuse this privelege?
USAir mainline is ALPA, as are most of thier feeders, except for Chautauqua, Colgan, and Shuttle America (No Longer an Express carrier)

But it's been a year so most have forgotten, mabye someone needs to remind everybody.

I have seen their payscale and even the CPT wages look really horrible, not to mention the FO.

How does someone even afford to work there? Thats the real question

fly22

Who do you think you are? You ain't $hit. Don't think that we don't know what is going on over there. You would have to be one dumb pilot to think otherwise. The jumpseating deal is real, it's been abused and it should not be allowed. Sorry but your owners need to pay up when they want you to travel or you could take a luxurious brown van to MEM/ later

tahoma sucks a$$!

If you have not been there you just don't know. FSDO was called as well as OSHA. It's called kick backs cause they turned the other cheek. The dangers there are real as you can see. This family has a disregard for life and an appetite for evil greed!

Dear Fly-Bi$exual,

Speak not of what you do not understand. In this case it is Air Tahoma that you do not know about, so shut the F up and go back to your switch-hitter chat-rooms.

Maybe some of us who know what we're talking about can actually save some lives.

b-bye!

GO BUCKEYES!!!

Man all this love on here reminds me of ground school when one of the officers of the company takes time out his day to tell your class of new hires why he hates pilots and how pilots are whats wrong with the industry and how many thing you can get fired for and how he single handedly ruined the lives of the people that worked for an Airline just because they wanted a better QOL..[anyone remember the name of the airline??] Also how many people he knows in the industry and will ruin your career if he wants too..

You wouldn't happen to be speaking of Wein Air would you?

AAAhhhh that I just mightbe.. Isnt that the Airline that someone claims to have shut down to bust the union.. How dare those pilots think they needed a better QOL.. He really showed them..

So, in other words, ALPA has a history with the owner of ATI doing auspicious things? They may not even know he's now running another carrier.

Mr. Rude seems to wear the Wein Air Alaska demise as a "merit badge". That's sad the crowning achievement of a man's career is the screwing of a great airline. But as he says, "I really showed them when they wanted a union, I shut the place down".

Even more sad Mr. Rude named his son after the founder of the same airline he proudly screwed over.

I wonder if there are any former WAA guys on here?

Consistent too: Bud's daughter geared-up a plane on a check-ride so she's Director of Safety.

Wait a minute.

I'm not defending Air Tahoma-they sound like a crappy company.

However, I read the accident report, and Bud's daughter was an observer on that flight. A passenger. How can you say she geared up? I read the ntsb report and she wasn't occupying any pilot seat.

How bout bashing the three men that were in the cockpit?

CV-240s only have two pilot seats plus one jumpseat. How did they have her plus three others? I don't get the math.
