Air Europa??

Anyone ever flown on them? If so, any info would be appreciated as I've never heard of them. Thank you!

A low quality, though not always low price, bucket and spade carrier of Spanish origin. Mainly flying tourists from places various in Europe to warmer and sunnier destinations in Spain. Pays their crews poorly, that is except for the First Officers who are paying for the "privilige" of flying a 737, and morale is not something you'd write home about. Has gone out of business a few times, only to be resurrected with ever worsening terms and conditions for the employees.

I personally wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. Then again, I don't particularly fancy flying any Spanish carrier; on the whole they're pretty horrible.

Thanks for the response, which I didn't see until after flying on them. They actually weren't as bad as the reviews I read, but my experience was better than some of my co-workers I traveled with. Go figure.......

Jumpseat on them all the time. Great crews except for one cocky super young and fresh E190 Captain who was a total doooshbag, but other than that I've been treated great!

The European economy is about to crash, France is electing a Socialist and will default on it's bonds, breaking apart the Economic Union, so any European airline would be risky, it seems to me.
