NetJets chairman, president and CEO David Sokol today at the NBAA Convention announced that the company is “filing for certification to create NetJets China later this year.” He also said the company is expanding in Europe and adding more aircraft, an apparent reference to yesterday’s announcement that NetJets will buy 50 Embraer Phenom 300s, with options for another 75. Talking about the fractional market in general, Sokol said, “We probably reached the bottom point sometime this summer and look forward to growing in this industry.”
