Me? Not at all. He reponded to my post and I responded back. Due to previous post on another board, I thought he was an FO. I was wrong. No reason for names. Sorry if I offended either of you.
 
If they placed a "cannot act as Pt 121 PIC" limitation upon this (as in would have to transition back to F/O from age 65-70), I would guess not many would stay. For many, I believe it's as much about ego as $$. They just can't picture themselves with 3 stripes slinging gear for "whippersnappers".

I would agree, especially what with some geezers now claiming that they are, in fact, NOT broke, but are just staying because they "want to". I bet they'll stop wanting to real fast, if it meant the right seat.
