Reminds me a great deal more of the teary eyed old guys who bawled over lost pensions and age discrimination. That behavior will start again in the next 12 months.

$hit, Flopgut....why don't you stand in the corner and hold your breath?
Maybe that will help things change.

Things will change soon enough. This two years has flown by. We'll all see the real hissy fits back in full force when it becomes clear that the profession is improving about the time it's over [again] for the old guys.

Cool. Babies crying. But think about this- most every Major airline has taken enormous paycuts. That means YOUR pay got cut. Why? Ever hear of divide and conquer? every time a guy gets furloughed bc of a rule change- or due to you allowing outsourcing - there's a pilot every bit as capable as you now willing to do the job for less- and probably also looking to f^ck you back. Just who do you think is flying the VA flights- working to make that place better?

Congrats. You got yours- but did you? In the end.

Looking out for the junior sends so many productive messages to management it's not funny. What message does looking out for the senior send?

Actually us old farts don't have enough strength in numbers to do what you suggest. The really senior are balanced out by the really junior. The real power lies in the middle of the seniority list. If there were any concessions granted the blame lies squarely with the middle 50% because the upper and lower 25% percent cancelled each other out.

True- just had to be senior and short- sighted enough to think your job was safe.
The bottom 10-20% were sold out by the top 65-75% multiple times.
Then once the furloughed guys were gone- and no longer had a vote- the next 10-20% were sold out.

What do you think the implications would be if we fought for the salary and QOL of each bottom guy?
