Ok I thought this would be the place for this. What the hell is up with "Saved by the Bell" on Adult Swim? I want my Aqua Teen, and Family guy with the side of Sea Lab 2021! Zack Morris Sucks!!!

I know, i almost kicked my dog when I saw that last nite! I hope it isn't on for long, It already sucks that they moved Futurama to put those hosers on.

While I personally found it sacrilegious, I did read in the local paper that their ratings were up something like 30% or so that time slot on the first night.

Hopefully the ironic kitschy glee will wear off and they'll return to more of the high quality original toons like ATHF, Venture Bros. and Harvey Birdman (with the classics like Futurama and Family Guy).

Just please god no more 12 oz. Mouse or Squidbillies. They can lose the Anime for all I care as well...

I agree, it sucks. That said, seeing Elizabeth Berkley on that show is the only reason I paid $7.50 to see "Showgirls".

This would be why they've been airing them. To get you dopes talking about it, giving adult swim free publicity to draw in more advertisers. Go to the adultswim.com message board. There is a HUGE thread about why saved by the bell has been airing.

I thought so at first too, then I watched it a little more and discovered it's real purpose, to help children with severe A.D.D. The down side is that if you don't have severe A.D.D. or if you're off you meds, it becomes really annoying to have zero plot lines in excess of 5 seconds.

Yes but how do you top "The worlds most one sided fistfights caught on tape?"

The show does have its downsides but I cant say anything bad about it since they aired that segment.

Don't get me wrong, Seth Green is a genius, but I think that show does/will have a short shelf-life. No doubt they've come up with some pretty funny sketches, but if that show were longer than 15 minutes even the most die-hard fan would probably not mind going to the kitchen for a snack without waiting for a commercial. I do like the fact that due to my age being right around the same as the show's creators, all the toys they use are the same ones I grew up playing with as well. Also, if you happen to be black-out drunk, the show is perfect due to sketch lengths matching up nicely with one's memory during a black-out period.

Its hard to do, but the scarface remix with the breakfast characters was good.

Those are already on another cartoon chanel I think like toon disney or nicktoons or boomerang. Ugh why do I know that?

They showed the ratings on one of their bumps and even the late futurama which weve alll seen like 19 times beat out SBTB.

I'll give you that on 12 oz. mouse...but I'm a squidbillies fan....nothing compares to ATHF though....that's why I bought all 4 volumes on DVD last week....best $90 I've spent in a long time
