With so many 737 Max 9 and 737-900ER aircraft on order and optioned, is is fair to assume that Boeing is squeezing the narrowbody Airbus aircraft out of UAL's fleet in the future? Obviously the ex-CAL CEO probably has a preference for Boeing aircraft like his predecessors. Anyone know about the lease expirations for the Airbus narrowbodies? Thoughts? I know the A350 was also ordered by UAL pre-merger so the sidestick won't be leaving... Obviously just speculating at this point - I am sure Airbus will be aggressive to keep UAL as a narrowbody customer with an offer for cheap NEOs...
