Ah, but National Airlines was a "Low Cost" airline that wasn't really low cost. Plus they had a model entirely too predicated on niche service that they were obligated to provide, due to their investors, and...etc., etc.

We just brought an EOS flight attendant home from JFK to FLL. She was in tears the whole way home. Very sad, indeed.
