Does anyone have an idea/educated guess for the projected upgrade times for new hires at ACA? I am considering switching regionals and weighing the options given lifestyle, upgrade time and location. Current upgrade time for me is 2 years from now with an upgrade into a turboprop. Jet captain is 10 years away. I think ACA is a place where I could make a long term career (if the majors never call) in contrast to my current situation.

Any inputs?

Here's straight from the CEO at ACA. He said that they will probably only hire 100 more pilots and that they are at thier max growth for awhile. Delta and United will grow their other regionals because ACA is the most expensive regional to use as a vendor. For united look for them to grow Air Wisconsin and for Delta I imagine it will be ASA. Hope this helps.
