Weren't they just supposed to get one Airbus A380 and go airport-to-airport and pick up and drop off pax as they go?

I told you guys, you failed to accept the fact. In your face.......Although they have yet to decide Boeing or Airbus....

Now Now Children...you dont wanna have to go in the corner for a time- out do ya?

Yes you did, and we all stand corrected, and hopefully you'll get to laugh louder.

If the ACA pilot group is presented with the opportunity to aquire "large" airplanes, I can assure all of you that our group WILL fly them for a substandard wage. We rolled over on the TA, and we'll sure as hell roll over on something like that. My guess is, if we got, say, 737s (probably never), our guys would be willing to fly them for about $80/hour captain, 50 or 60 fo. All in the name of growth. Well I won't do it, just like I wouldn't vote yes on that pos ta. Screw this I'm going to medical school.

Herman,

This response is further proof that you are exactly right. These guys will be falling all over themselves for the opportunity to fly a 737 for $80/hr (or less), if given the chance. However, I think that chance is remote, since the financial community seems less than enamored at the idea of ACA becoming an independent LCC.

What is this statement based on. Kerry Skeen said today in the conference call that they had all the backing they would need to go out on their own.

Just for the record I did not vote in favor of the UAL TA and I would not vote in favor of the rediculous rates mentioned here. I guess all I was saying to him was that if he isn't happy here then he should go and persue whatever it is that will make him happy...apparently that is medical school. For this LCC to be successful we need to have people (from the bottom to the top) that want to be here.
