Hi!

ABX, which was the old Airborne Express, and AStar A Cargo, who was the old DHL, both fly for DHL, who bought the entire Airborne Express operation except for the airline part.

ABX and AStar are both in a state of flux, due to DHL trying to grow and figure out the best way to do it.

Hopefully, in a year or two everything will be sorted out and they both will be hiring.

They pay well, fly airplanes for DHL, and don't seem to hire pilots very often :)

You can say that again......Last class hired was late 2000.

There are sooo many rumors flying around it will make your head spin. I am at the point now that I will believe when I see.

Two pilots from the 2/21/2001 class are on the line flying today and another five remain furloughed. One additional pilot from that class bypassed recall.

I know this is strange, but I'm trying to find out information on their new insurance plan. It is with a company call Whole Health Net. I'm trying to find someone who is on the line, that has info on their plan. I'm doing this for a budy of mine who is in the insurance business. Thanks

Actually, none, ABX works for DHL primarily; as do the feeders. There are 2 or 3 in/out of ILN each night, but each company has separate crew facilities, so I don't know who they are; except of course Northwest with their 747.

DHL Feeders

Here are the DHL feeders in ILN besides ABX and Astar:

NWA 747-200F ILN-ANC-NRT-ANC-ILN
Lufthansa Cargo MD11 ILN-EMA-ILN
Ameriflight EM120 ILN-CHO-LYH-ILN
Ameriflight EM120 ILN-MEM-ILN
Aircar SD360 ILN-MWA-ILN
Castle C208 ILN-CAK, YHM-ILN
Norlinor CV580 ILN-YUL-ILN

As far as the out station feeders there is more than I can mention! I hope this helps...
