Nope, ABX is not moving or closing shop (that I'm aware of). Work is in KILN but most people live close to Dayton, Cincinnati or Columbus and drive in. Only 767 in the fleet anymore. Domestic flights are for DHL and international flights for a variety of customers. Benefits stink anymore and pay....well its okay but needs to be much better to fill the gap for the benefits. I hope they fix that and fix it soon before they have more openings to fill. We're always hopeful but that's wearing thin. The work is good though. I really like what I do.

Fingers crossed.

Do they still have that stupid rule where your days off arent continuous?

Unfortunately yes. I have been stuck there for a looooong time. It would be great if it were days, but in a night shift it just flat out bites. It's the family time that keeps me there. The 3 days off in a row does nothing when they are during the week and school is in. If they don't reveal some major news, especially with regard to pay, there will be more openings there real soon. Get in now and you can move up in seniority. :D

What is this rule about not having consecutive days off about?

What is this rule about not having consecutive days off about?

There is no rule. Most of the lines have consecutive days off, but then there are the lines that " fill in" the coverage gaps. The senior people take the hard lines with consecutive days, junior people usually get open lines that fill in when people go on vacation so they get consecutive days off most times, and then there are crap hard lines like I have been stuck on. I could hold a line that has sun, mon, tues off but it fries the whole weekend working third shift.

What are non-hard lines at ABX would equate to what my airlines calls "Scarps". Same deal, there holiday/vacation/training coverage and go to the junior most dx'rs.
