Yup, a bunch of guys who were supposed to get furloughed on April 1 get to keep their jobs! (no, not an April fool's joke, it's already showing in Sabre.) A good sign of things to come?

So are you still on property?

So how close to being the anchorman are you?

Hang in there!

Nope, aa73 is on the outside looking in, like us... I think we're all in the same general area, though.

Jeff--do you have any CE500 time? Someone's looking in MD over on the corporate board.TC

A "bunch"? Are you kidding me? The number is 10. I am happy for those 10 people and their families, but this is not really big news from a company that has been furloughing 100+ per month since 9/11.

sadly no one is being recalled yet.

AMR must be reticent regarding the 300+ FB's at AE.....double training cost hit on the recall.

good luck to all.

Also the ten who missed the axe were sAAved by AMR granting Stand-in-Stead furloughs to people senior to them.

The same number of people left the property as was originally announced.

Sorry, you are all correct. The number is only 10, and it is not a true "rescindment", just a few more senior guys that took stand-in-steads.

I committed the unmistakeable sin of posting without verifying. My bad.

I really do think that recalls are not far away, though.

Jeff - I made it.

Regards, 73
