They don't fix them anymore. Just put pretty orange stickers everywhere. Personal record is 9. Going through all the mels takes more time than some of the enroute times on the 9.

As much as I respect the TWA pilots and despise the scAAbs don't think we will give up our scope as you guys did. Our merger committee is made up of 2 hired after 95 and 1 before. If they were to accept what your mec did they would but slitting their own throats.. If we can get doh or relative seniority it could benifit you and put the scAAbs in their place. We are on your side twa'rs.


One way or another, if AMR makes a move on NWA--say, within the next year--the TWA pilots will end up very wealthy individuals (thanks, TC) . Or, the NWA pilots will have a very good DFR suit of their own modeled after ours.

Face it--ALPA set a standard for representation in non-ALPA to ALPA mergers, i.e., no representation. Thank your buddy Duane for that one.

And while I like your attitude with the "scAAbs in their place" comment, I don't know how you'd do it and include the TWA pilots.

That's the problem. We join forces with our former ALPA brothers to get them a "fair" integration on the premise that it would somehow benefit us (simmer down Natives, all this is speculation).

The NWA guys get a "fair" integration but nothing is to be done for those already on the list. Oops. "Oh well, we fought the good fight" say our former ALPA brothers from their CA seats...

It would have to be a "pre-pack" before I would jump on that particular bandwagon.
