Not really, but believe whatever you wish.

I've been a member of two airline unions for a long time and I find it to be true.

Just watch. Whenever someone talks to you about union participation it won't long before that person starts telling you about all there accomplishments at the union. It's happened on this message board already.

Did it ever occur to you that that person is trying to point out to you that they might have a better idea about what the problems are because they've been in the trenches and have the resume to back it up? Some of you guys need to learn to listen to the people that have been doing the work and understand where the faults in the organization are.

Good point, but you need to stop always selling your resume of accomplishments. You come across extremely arrogant, and condoscending at times.

It you are truly trying to give better ideas than you may want to look for a another way of communicating with your peers. I think you have the "brains", you just lack the maturity. That hopefully comes with age.

Merely a limitation in the communications medium being used. The internet is a notoriously awful way to communicate. Many members of this board accuse Rez of being arrogant and condescending, but anyone who knows him in the "real world" knows that to be ridiculous. When someone on this board tries to set the record straight and point out that the flightinfo conventional wisdom about the "evils" of ALPA are wrong, it comes across as condescending. If we were having this conversation at the bar, everyone would be getting along just fine.
