Saved himself on labor costs for years (probably for a few more still). Sounds like a good CEO...
Yeah, but not a leader. RA is a leader.

Had an AA new hire in the jump last month who left Delta after 9 months.
I've gotta say that really surprises me. I know personally of Jet Blue, United, and Alaska pilots that are new hires over here, but a Delta pilot? Heard mention that there are Southwest pilots getting hired on, that surprises me too.
Why would I make that up? The guy lives in Dallas. Why does that surprise you?

That would probably be the ONLY reason a DL pilot would leave for AA.

Don't care what you have to say pr!ck.
My 19,000+ posts have substance when it comes to this industry.

As far as "everyone" not liking me, I beg to differ. I get PMs daily from people with interview questions and asking for advice. Bye Bye---General Lee
The only ones who like you are On Your Six, Mercyful Fate (where he'd go Jenni?) and all the other alter egos you have on FI. PM'g you for advice, from a dispatcher out in Utah? Really. Maybe some pimple face student pilot from some small airport or someone playing on his flight simin his Mom's basement. Putz!
Almost 20,000 posts from Jenny of utter bullshet! What an accomplishment putz.![]()
You're out of control Jenny! Almost there though, a few more to hit 20K posts!
Rightttt you weren't Mercy, or On Your Six, or whatever else you use on FI. Let's see, SW pilots don't respect you, AA pilots don't, USAir don't, UAL either, regional pilots don't, oh I know....your fellow dispatchers do!

Are you stalking GL? You seem to add almost nothing to these discussions. Why are you so obsessed with GL? It's getting weird...
I think all you guys should quit bickering and the majors and come one over to Netjets. We fly to all the airports in west Texas...including Midland and Lubbock.![]()
Heck and you get to live anywhere you want.
That would probably be the ONLY reason a DL pilot would leave for AA.

Really? I doubt that. After people see the SLI fight between US/AWA/AA and the resulting award explosions, there will probably be a mass migration to DL and UA. What a nightmare that place will become.
The only reason to go there is if you live in DFW or MIA, and it still will be a test of your patience. The leadership and warring employee factions make it a thumbs down.

This is complete and utter BS! We are all more stupid for having read this! May God have mercy upon your soul.
Wrong! I had a Shuttle America Capt on the jump and asked him which airlines he was looking at and asked about AA, and he stated "I don't know if I want to get involved in that mess." I'm sure most Regional pilots would take AA, but there is a "concern" about how everything will turn out. The East/West debacle, and then APA's history with TWA/Reno etc. I'd say I understand his precautionary stance....

Why would a new hire pilot at AA be concerned with East/West past debacle and Reno/TWA, especially with everyone retiring in 10 years and a new hire junior to everyone anyway?
Another comment from a "forward thinking" regional pilot in the jump and another condescending post by GL and the arrogant pr!ck he is...

Hey Genny,
You just contradicted yourself. If AA isn't a desirable or as you say as desirable as delta, why would you say most regional pilots would take AA? If what you say is true, wouldn't they hold out for other majors?

Any Regional pilot or LCC pilot will probably look at all 3 of the legacies, mainly due to huge upward movement due to retirements, and huge profitability. So, all 3 would be looked at. But, not all of the 3 are alike. And that's my point. But all 3 are good overall choices.
